Alert:24 is WTW’s in-house security risk advisory and crisis support client service and is part of WTW’s global Crisis Management insurance broking division. Alert:24 provide intelligence, consultancy and training to WTW clients to assist the treatment of clients’ security risks.

We are looking for a candidate with the proven agility to manage a proactive sales support cycle and provide coordination and assurance for delivery of security risk consultancy projects to our global clients, a role with sales and delivery exposure within a large insurance and professional services firm, to global clients in the kidnap, crisis-communications, travel risk management, active-assailant and terrorism/political-violence sector.

We are looking for a candidate with the capability to generate sales opportunities, managing a sales cycle, coordinate the delivery of services in the security risk advisory sector and manage a consultant network to join our Risk Advisory team. There will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their own security risk expertise in their chosen area and deliver services to clients.

The successful candidate will be located with our Lead North American Crisis & Risk Advisor in Houston, USA. Alert:24 and Crisis Management have a global client base but we will be looking for the candidate to take a lead in managing sales and the coordination of delivery in the region. The successful candidate will support WTW brokers and stakeholders in client meetings and prospect pitches.

The Role

Project Management of the delivery of regional Alert:24 Risk Advisory services




  • Project manage and quality assure the delivery of Alert:24 Risk Advisory intelligence, consultancy and training to regional WTW clients. Typically the services will be delivered by an approved network of specialists with project management from the successful candidate.

  • Manage relationships and build the network of regional specialists who can deliver Alert:24 Risk Advisory services.



Delivery of Alert:24 Risk Advisory services




  • Alert:24 will look to utilise the expertise of the successful candidate to deliver appropriate Risk Advisory services.

  • We will want to develop the expertise of the successful candidate to allow for the delivery of a wider range of Risk Advisory services.



Support of the Crisis Management team and raise the profile of Alert:24 in the region




  • Alert:24 is a point of difference for WTW against other insurance brokers. As one of two Risk Advisory people in the region, the successful candidate will be supporting the WTW Crisis Management broking team in client and prospect meetings.

  • Clearly articulate the Alert:24 offering to clients and internal WTW stakeholders



Lead and Manage the Sales Cycle of Regional Alert:24 Risk Advisory Sales




  • Manage the sales cycle for regional clients including scoping, preparing and delivery of client commercial proposals for the Alert:24 Risk Advisory services

  • Support in the tracking of revenue and advise on revenue forecasting for regional sales

  • Support the Head of Risk Advisory in regional sales planning



The Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience in the international security risk-management sector
  • Experience of consultative sales, scoping, coordination and delivery is desirable
  • A strong understanding of security risk and resilience providers in the region
  • An effective and articulate communicator who is comfortable speaking to clients and stakeholders
  • A motivated and disciplined person who can build relationships and networks with diverse groups
  • Proven ability to decipher client requirements, determine appropriate solutions and effectively communicate the requirements to colleagues and consultants.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple stakeholders that have complex people/asset risk exposure
  • Experience working internationally, with a proven ability to forge strong relationships with international clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrably excellent report-writing and presentation skills in MS-Office suite.
  • Experience working with insurance security and medical crisis response services is desirable.
  • Experience delivering security and crisis management consulting, training and intelligence services
  • Requires international travel, as appropriate
  • Active involvement in a relevant industry association, such as ASIS, IRM, the Security Institute, GBTA, ISRM etc.
  • Experience working within a leading security consulting, insurance or professional services firm
  • Converasational ability in another language
